Remote Access
Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance
We are setting up remote access that uses ISA's VPN facility (rather than
teh router's vpn server). This seems to work fine, but I would appreciate
some security advice:-
(a) what form of encryption should be set (& how?!) on the VPN.
(b) is it possible to set ISA server to only accept connections from
specific IP addresses, to increase security?
(c) for the remote user - what can be done to tie down their pc? - in
particular to force them through the main network to access the
internet/e-mail etc, thereby removing the risk of them using a local
connection providing a back-door to the SBS?
Thanks
