Hi Everyone,
Here's one I'm stumped on .... I had to create a group called support
for our company to handle customer support. So I went in to Groups
and created the group
and added the users ..... so I now have an external e-mail account
that customers can use to contact all of the employees in that group
and all the mail that hits that mailbox will be seen by everyone.
Correct? (grin)
Now the stumper, I also got a new cell phone that I need to send that
same mail to ..... for the individual's here in the company that have
phones I just created a mailbox on the phone and I forward a copy of
all the mail for that user via ADUC - User Properties - Exchange Gen
- Delivery Options - Forwarding Address .. so that sends copy of all
the mail that hits that users exchange mailbox to a forwarding
contact in ADUC that sends it to the phones SMTP address. Easy Peasy!
But with the group list there is no option to forward ... I tried
created a contact for that phones SMTP address but I can't add a
contact to the support group's members list. I have a few other
things I can try ... what the best one to use? OR have a missed an
even easier and obvious way !?
Cheers'
Dave
Create an AD contact for the phone's email address in ADUC
Add the AD contact to the group
Hide the AD contact from the address list
Done
:)
