Re: backup exec + sharepoint 2007 database "cannot be opened it is in the middle of a restore"

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

This newsgroup is for SBS 2003 so I think asking elsewhere will bring you a
greater response.

Hi all,

I have sharepoint 2007 running on server 2003 + remote agent.

I also have a backup server running symantec backup exec 11d (with AFO
+ SQL + sharepoint agents) on server 2003

I've done a restore of the entire system on sharepoint and restarted.
Now when I do the daily backups on the sharepoint server I am getting
this error on backup exec:
---------------
Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe0008443 - One or more SQL Database consistency checks
have failed.
Final error category: Resource Errors

For additional information regarding this error refer to link

I've installed EMS SQL query on sabertooth (our sharepoint server) to
tried and connect to the lcoal SQL database and run a query to tell it
that it isn't loading.

Problem is I cannot connect to the database with either windows
authentication or SQL server authentication, with event log getting
these errors:
Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\LOCAL SERVICE'.
Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE'. [CLIENT: <local
machine>]

Any ideas how to connect to it?

If I am able to connect, do I run something like this?
"restore database dbname with recovery"

-------------Separate note:
I am also getting these errors in event viewer:
Event Type: Failure Audit
Event Source: MSSQL$OFFICESERVERS
Event Category: (4)
