Hello Alfredo,
Thank you for your reply.
I am sorry to hear about that the situation got worse.
For the problem that CEICW could not be run, it can mostly be caused by
that a registry key is missing.
Please refer to following KB article to install a hotfix to resolve the
problem:
You receive an error message when you try to run a Server Management wizard
in Windows Small Business Server 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940318/en-us
After that, please continue to follow KB825763 to re-run CEICW.
If the issue persists, please gather following information for me:
1. Please help me capture screenshots of all the error messages you
received and send to v-mzhuan@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
To capture the image, we can perform the steps below:
(a) When the error message appears, press the Print Screen key several
times (this key is located to the right of the F12 key on the keyboard)
(b) Open Paint ['start' => 'All Programs' => 'Accessories' => 'Paint'].
(c) Click Edit (menu) -> Paste or press Ctrl + V.
(d) Click File (menu) -> Save. Save it as a .jpg or .gif file and send it
to me as an attachment.
2. Please send following log file to v-mzhuan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows Small Business Server\Support\icwlog.txt
3. Please download the MPS Report tool from the following link and run it
on the SBS server, then send the generated CAB file to my mailbox
v-mzhuan@xxxxxxxxxxxxx for further investigation so that we can find what
the root cause is:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/b/1/bb139fcb-4aac-4fe5-a579-30b0bd9
15706/MPSRPT_NETWORK.EXE

Please try the above steps at your earliest convenience.
If the issue is urgent to your business, it is recommended that you contact
Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) via telephone so that a dedicated
Support Professional can assist you recover the server in a more efficient
manner. Please be advised that contacting phone support will be a charged
call.
For a complete list of Microsoft Customer Support Services phone numbers
and information about support costs, visit the following Microsoft Web
site:

If you have any concern, please feel free to let me know.
Best regards,

| Manfred,
| First of all, thanks for your help.
| The problem has worsened from my perspective.
| I downloaded and printed kb825763 to followit closly.
| I configured the 2 adapters .
| Start-> Control Panel-> Network Connections.
| Server Local Area connection and proceeded to IP/TCP etc. to configure.
Then
| configuered the other adapter for Network connections.
| Restarted the server.
| When it rebooted and it didi it very slowly. tried to run the CEICW but
it
| would not let me. it brought an error message thet DHCP was running and
it
| could not run the wizard.
| I disbled the DHCP and tried again to run the wizard.
| This time the error message said it could only run in a SBS server.
| That is the OS in that hardware the Windows Server 2003.
| So no luck there.
| Worst of all the connectivity we had where we could access e-mail is lost
| and even Web connectivity is lost from the server.
| I hard wired a computer to the router and I can ping the router and
connect
| to the internet, but not with the server.
| and can't have connectivity from the server.
| I have spent uncountable hours on it and it seems to get worst.
| The server runs very slow and each tsk you try takes forever to come up
and
| each step takes a very long time to execute.
| So I'm at a lose... ...Please HELP!!!
