With Outlook 2003, if you open one of the emails in the spam folder you should have a button top left that will approve the sender (add to list), and move the email to the inbox. This is a custom Outlook form, I believe, and it should be added automatically. I haven't seen this work in Outlook 2k7 though (and haven't investigated why not).

I am working with the Trend Micro CSM 3.6 product and all is working fine
except for.... Outlook. Specifically TM has created a new "Spam Mail"
folder with an "Approved Sender List" subfolder on the Outlook Client running
at an XP workstation. How do you use this folder to add names to, what I am
thinking, is a White List on at the server (SBS 2003, Exchange, TM Server)?
I see email showing up in the Spam Mail Folder that TM is flagging as spam
and rightly so putting into that folder. What is the protocol if the user
catches an email in that folder and not only want's to keep it but add that
sender to the Approved Sender List? When I go into Approved Sender List I
see the Outlook task but I cannot add names. (I type in a name, hit the Add
button but nothing happens). I know I am missing something here. I would
think I could add names that would get pushed up to the server and better yet
drag the spam email into that Approved Senders list and the email address is
automatically added and that email is then moved to the Inbox. Also, how do
the users see who is on the master Approved Senders List without going into
the Management console for CSM?
Just a little confused here.
