My advise is not to do it, but it's your server after all :-) A call to support will save you a lot of time in my opinion

I have dug up Microsoft Windows Knowledge Base article number 887305
(KB887305) titled "How to reinstall Internet Information Services 6.0
in Windows Small Business Server 2003". It involves uninstalling
various components from windows. Deleting various registry keys,
fragments left over on the hard disk and reinstalling the various
components that were uninstalled. Then running the Windows SBS CEICW
wizard again to reconfigure everything to do with IIS.

Would it be wise to follow this guide?

I probably will follow it, however I would do a full system backup
first.
