Is the remote subnet different from the SBS LAN subnet?

I cant seem to get VPN to work, Remote is enabled using wizard, I can dial
in no problem, user enabled, it connects, but thats it, havent done this
for a while, the last VPN on SBS2003, I remembered once all this done,
connect, and then I just run \\ServerName and it opens up, this time round
all connects well without any errors , and fast,but just get item not
found, has R2 changed on the VPN side ? thanks
