Hi
I shut down my SBS 2003 R2 Std. server for the holydays, and after
startup
exchange has gone havoc:
1. All settings for e-mail accounts (exchange tabs) is missing from AD
2. All stores are gone, deleted (folder is empty. Priv1 and Pub1,
including
all .log files)
3. When I try to run"Connect to the Internet" wiz. Its fails on the
exchange
part.
4. There is a lot of errors in the event logs
a. "MSExchangeSA" Event ID 9175, The MAPI call 'OpenMsgStore' failed
with
the following error:
The attempt to log on to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer has
failed.
The MAPI provider failed.
Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store
ID no: 8004011d-0512-00000000
b. "MSexchangeFBPublish" Event ID 8197, Error initializing session for
virtual machine OWSS-SBS. The error number is 0x8004011d. Make sure
Microsoft
Exchange Store is running.
I can live whit out my old mails but I need to get the exchange up
running
again so any help in how to fix this is much appreciated.
