Re: Hard drive not showing up



I did come across some articles suggesting the externals can sometimes insist
on the next physical drive letter whether it's been assigned to a partition
or not. Maybe I can look into that further. I went and bought another
external drive; unfortuanately, I forgot it had to be one that I could secure
with a locking cable so I have to get a different one

Have you tried connecting to another domain workstation, reading the data and then copying that to the server to a folder to be used for the restore?
