Your advice worked perfectly, thank you very much for that.
The question is now what do i do with software that doesnt come as
.msi? I want to install firefox and scanning software for our
printer/scanner. Any advice?
Itan
Well here's a link for starters and some reading. Some programs are
more suited for scripting like printing.
Hmmm.... Well, let's try that again;

I am trying to create a GPO in order to install applications on
multiple computers. I created the GPO, assigned the .msi file and
linked it to the OU. When the user logs in and double clicks the
application it says that you have to be an administrator to install
the software. Whats the point in PGO if i still have to log in as
administrator at
each workstation? or am i doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance
Itan
Some software is best assigned to the computer instead of the user.
Computer assinged software runs as the local 'system' which already
has 'admin' priv (however it needs network permissions to the .msi).
What application are you 'assigning'?
