RE: Email send error

Robert, I will collect the information and send it to your microsoft email
address, as for the questions:

1. No, I do not use the SBS POP3 connector to dowload messages.

2. Yes and NO. In setting up the various accounts (under account settings),
the incoming email server and outgoing email server (SMTP) are listed as the
ISP's servers.

3. I am the only account for now while I test this.

4. The email domain is NOT acme.com

Hi Joseph,

Thanks for posting in our newsgroup and also for Merv's suggestion.

Before we go further on this issue, please let me know the following to
make the situation more clearly:

1. Do you use the SBS POP3 connector to download ISP e-mails?
2. Does Outlook 2007 connect to Exchange server and send/receive e-mail via
Exchange?
3. Do all users have such issue sending e-mail to info@xxxxxxxxx?
4. Is your e-mail domain acme.com?

Please also help me collect the following information for deep research:

SMTP log

1) Open the properties page of the Default SMTP Virtual Server in Exchange
System Manager.
2) On the General tab, check the "Enable logging" box.
3) Click Properties, click the Extended Properties tab and check all the
boxes on the list.
4) Click OK twice.
5) Stop and restart the SMTP virtual server.
6) Ask a client to send some test emails entitled "Test Email To
problematic recipient" you. Wait till you get the NDRs.
7) Stop the SMTP virtual server.
8) Go to the C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles\SMTPSVC1 folder and send me log.

Please send the information to v-robeli@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with subject:
41171224-Email send error.

I am looking forward to hear from you.

If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Best regards,

Robert Li(MSFT)
