Outlook refuses to use POP account in SBS network

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

I have Win2003 Small Business Server. It comes with Exchange, but you don't
have to use it and I didn't install it. I've just had to reinstall the
server and my workstations. I got my workstation working with Outlook and
connecting to my POP account. But when I install Outlook on my wife's
computer it only wants to look for an Exchange server and I can't get it to
forget this idea and just let me connect to my POP account. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled and nowhere does it ask me about what to attach
to. I have no desire to use and maintain Exchange and have not had to in
the past while using SBS. Can anyone tell me how to get Outlook to install
so that it does not make this arrogant and obnoxious assumption that
Exchange should be used and nothing else?

Thanks,

Russell Campbell
