Thanks Shawn,
I will try to review with the customer. As this is working now, I dont want
to trouble them for testing on this single workstation issue. I will archive
your notes in CRM and have them available for future reference.

Hi Joe,
Thank you for posting here.
From your post, I understand that one customer installed Windows OneCare
updates and SKYPE. After that, RWW cannot be used. Finally, the issue was
resolved by enabling two disabled ID Add-ons.
Before we go any further, I would like to confirm the following questions:
1. Did this issue on other computers with Windows OneCare & SKYPE installed?
2. Can you reproduce this issue on your side?
3. What is the error message when the issue occurs?
4. After manually enable the ActiveX in IE, reboot the client workstation,
will the ActiveX be disabled again?
I haven't heard that the OneCare or SKYPE could cause this issue. If this
issue only occurs on one workstation, based on the above resolution, this
should be a client side IE issue. I suggest you post this problem in IE
newsgroup. I think we can narrow down this issue more efficient in this
way. Thank you for your understanding.

Just for your reference, I also included some suggestions on
troubleshooting RWW ActiveX issues:
First please make sure you log on as local administrator on the remote
computer.
The using of RWW remotely should download an ActiveX via IE, so let us
refer to the following steps to trouble shoot the issue:
I. Let's enable the "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" feature and
security settings in Internet Explorer on the client and see if this helps:
===============
1. Enable the "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" feature:
a. In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools menu.
b. Click the Advanced tab. Scroll to the bottom, in the Security section,
click to check the "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" check box.
c. Click OK. Restart IE and have a test.
2. Set the IE security setting as follows:
A. Open Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools menu.
B. Click the Security tab, select Internet and click Custom Level.
C. Select Prompt or Enable for Download signed ActiveX controls and
Download unsigned ActiveX controls.
D. Click OK. Restart IE and have a test.
II. Add the RWW site to the Trusted site. To do so:
===============
1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. On the Security tab, highlight Trusted sites and click Sites.
4. In the Add this Web site to the zone box, type the public FQDN of the
RWW site such as https://fqdn/*
Note: Make sure the security level for Trusted sites are set to default
level (low).
Then please close all IE in the workstation and try to access the RWW site
to download the ActiveX, what is the result?
III. If the issue persists, please install the ActiveX Control manually.
===============
The actual file that is downloading is located under the
%systemroot%\Inetpub\Remote directory on the SBS server, and it's called
Msrdp.cab. You may copy the Msrdp.cab from the SBS server to the client
computer, and install it manually.
If you have any concern, please feel free to let me know.
Best regards,
Shawn Shao
