I have an SBS server and another domain controller at a remote site.
The SBS server died and I had to re-create it from a back up. When the
backup came up there were AD issues. I fixed the issues on the SBS
server by deleting the connections in Sites and Services and
recreating them. However the remote domain controller can not talk to

Schema mismatch error.

How old was the backup and how did you "re-create from a backup" (restore).

You must use a full backup and system state less than 60 days old (for
default tombstone lifetime) and then follow the proper restoration
procedures.

What it looks like is your second DC might be a 2003 R2 server and the SBS
server was SP1 and the backup was prior to the adprep needed for 2003 R2
DC's (schema v31).
