Do an IPCONFIG /ALL on the computer, are the DNS settings correct? Check
local host file for any rogue DNS entries. Check the local firewall of the

This is an odd problem! It only occurs on one client machine.

Client XP Pro joined to domain

Server SBS 2003

On one computer on the network when I browse the server shares by
typing \\servername only three of the approximately 12 shared folders
appears.

However, if I browse by typing \\ipaddressof server all the shared
folders appear.

Again, this only occurs on one client but it happens regardless of
which user is logged in.- Hide quoted text -

IPConfig shows dns server same as sbs server. Host file has only
localhost entry. Firewall is fine as far as I can tell.
