Didn't know where to post this one but hopefully someone in the SBS
group has run across this issue...
My Outlook on my desktop is configured for my main Exchange account I
also have the need to send AS another user on a secondary domain my
SBS server hosts. This was accomplished by configuring a POP account
for that address within the same Outlook profile which is used to
send as that user. Incoming e-mail for that account is simply
forwarded to my main account (1st domain)
Why not just have that secondary address set up as part of your own
mailbox/email address properties, rather than setting up a mailbox for it &
doing a forward?
and filtered to a
sub-directory. Receive on the POP account is disabled of course.
I just setup my new Moto Q9H to sync with my main account, which works
flawlessly; I then realized I don't have a way to send AS the other
account.
Has anyone found a work around for this on a mobile device and/or 3rd
party software to accomplish this task?
I don't think there's anything that will let you do this, sorry. Your only
options would be to set up a separate mail account on the handheld, which
won't accomplish exactly what you wish.
Configuring a separate POP account doesn't allow me to sync and save
sent items so it's not a solution and it appears to me that you can
only configure 1 Exchange client on a Windows Mobile 6 device.
Yes, that's correct.
Thanks,
Dave
