SBS 2003 CALS

Does anyone know where the server gets this information from?

I have a friend whose server reports that the maximum usage is 37 for 35 installed licences. However "he" only has a maximum of 38 workstations that can ever connect and 2 other servers. Out of all of those, 4 PCs are hardly ever used and 4 others are laptops that connect remotely, so unlikely to be 2 connected at the same time, let alone all 4.

Does it work by recording those that login over a week or something, and is the information visible somewhere?

Thanks

Neil
