I believe it's what I posted previously, except change the MX domain address
to "sbs.companyweb.com". And of course you need to open Port 25 on your
firewall.
By the way, I typically create the A record with a host name of "mail" and
use "mail.address.com" for the MX address. Not sure it matters a technical
sense.
Here you go...
A Record
Host Name: sbs
Points to Ip Address: 111.111.111.111 (the public IP of your router)
TTL: 1 hr (the default)
MX Record
Priority: 10 (default I believe, but doesn't really matter unless you have a
second mx)
Host Name: @ (which is a placeholder for companyweb.com)
Address: sbs.companyweb.com
TTL: 1 hr (the default)

When I run CEICW I named the.
vpn server sbs.companydomain.com
web server certificate is sbs.companydomain.com
email domain name companydomain.com
with that information and the items from my original post how would you set
up the records I listed?

Lanwench is correct, and I believe the specific entries would be:
A Record
Host Name: sbs
Points to Ip Address: 111.111.111.111
TTL: 1 hr (the default)
MX Record
Priority: 10 (default I believe, but doesn't really matter unless you have a
second mx)
Host Name: @
Address: sbs.company.com
TTL: 1 hr (the default)

Hi,
I know this has been beaten to death but I need this info.
I host at GoDaddy.
Router with static ip from isp, start ip 1.1 forwarded to external ip
of sbs. SBS box has 2 nic's external 1.2 internal 16.2
If 111.111.111.111 is the static ip on the router box and when I ran
internet wizard i named the vpn server sbs.company.com and web server
certificate is sbs.companyweb.com
Typo? If not, rerun the CEICW to be sbs.company.com.
and e-mail domain is company.com
What will the DNS records be?
Total DNS at GoDaddy has the following options.
A (host)
Host Points To
CNAME (Aliases)
Host Points To
TXT (Text) Add New SPF
Record Add New TXT Record
Host TXT Valu
MX (Mail Exchange)
Priority Host Goes To
You need to create sbs.company.com as an A record - and then set up that A
record as your MX record.
I've never been very fond of Godaddy's DNS console interface, personally,
but you might try calling their tech support if you're having trouble.
