Hi:
My thanks to Les and Larry for their help on this.
I ended up having to call MS.
Here is what happened:
Had an existing SBS 2003 R2 domain. Mixed users XP and Vista (only one
Vista user initially). Added two new Vista machines and they were NEW
builds. Followed the postings and KB articles and these two machines
(after
patches and GPO applied) worked. The older Vista machine would not
replciate
documents between the client and server documents folder.
Turns out that the policy on the server had (either set when the Vista
patch
was applied or I mistakenly did it) had the EXCLUSIVE box checked under
the
folder redirection policy on the SETTINGS TAB. This created an issue when
the client initially wanted to create a trust between the documents on the
client and the server. If the client had insifficient privledge it could
not
take control and create the trust hence the replciation did not ocurr.
So if you run into this issue check your policy on the server and make
sure
under the policy SETTINGS that user exclusive control is OFF.
Thanks again to everyone that helped especially Larry and Les.
Chuck
