Re: Exchange server not running - Urgent

The SMTP service was stopped. I started the service manually and it
worked fine. I ran the wizard,which stops the SMTP service but it
wasn't restarted. When I looked in the services window it read
"Stopping..." it is no longer running.

It generated the same information messages as before:

Check your services node in advanced management. Is the Simple Mail Transfer
Protocol (SMTP) service started? If not can you start it? If it's started,
can you restart it? If it won't start, is there an error?

Check the System and Application event logs, any red dots (errors) there
(during the time you run the CEICW, and after?).
