Funky mouse behavior on a TS session

Hi --
If I connect via mstsc to a SBS 2003 box (from every PC I've tried), I experience some funky mouse behavior. Mouse movement and tracking is fine, but mouse clicks are not properly interpreted. If I left-click the mouse button and don't do anything else, the left-click will be interpreted in 5-6 seconds. If I left-click and then press some key on the keyboard, the left-lick is interpreted immediately, followed by the keypress. (The trick there is to figure out what key to press to flush the left-click but not screw up whatever I'm trying to accomplish ...)
Right-clicks behave roughly the same way. Except that most of the context menus brought up by right-clicks don't take well to random keypresses ...
I don't have this problem connecting anywhere else from these same PCs via mstsc.
Does anyone know what could be causing this, and how I can fix it?
Thanks,
CL
