Can't Access Web from Within Windows Server!

Hi, I'm able to connect to my Windows Server 2003 (Standard Edition,
SP2) through a remote desktop connection, yet, once I'm in the server
(as an Administrator), I can't access the web, use email, or print
from the server to network printers. I can ping internally, but not
externally. Basically, this seems to be just as if I opened my laptop
and turned off my wireless connection. The Local Area Connection,
however, seems to be both receiving and sending.
The server is very remote - on another continent actually - so I can't
check cables or anything obvious right now...any ideas on what might
be the cause? Thanks.
.
