WSS3 limitations regarding search in SQL Server 2005/SBS2003 environment, see http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=77404

Hi,
i would like to upgrade from wss2 (WMSDE) to wss3 (SQL Server 2005) in my
sbs2003 environment. I am a little bit confused when reading about
limitations in http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=77404 .
This is what i am talking about:
If you moved the Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 databases from WMSDE to the
Microsoft SQL ServerT 2000 database software or to Microsoft SQL Server
2005, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Search does not function after you
install Windows SharePoint Services 3.0.
How do i manage to install wss3 / SQL Server and have search working
properly? Do i have to install wss3 first and later install SQL Server on
top?
Does it mean that i have to create a WSS3 database from scratch rather than
migrate from WSS2?
Juergen
.
