Just to make sure were are on the same page, right click on the "logOnOff' GPO, click 'Edit' go to 'User Configuration | Windows | Settings>Scripts |(Logon/Logoff) | Logon" and click on "Show Files". Can you see your script in the folder that opens up? If not, copy the scrip in that particular directory.

I added it to the LogOnOff Group Policy Object by copying and pasting the
name of the VB script in window that shows when click on browse. This is
inside of the group Policy Object Editor under user Configuration>Windows
Settings>Scripts (Logon/Logoff)>Properties of Logon. I then linked this to
SBSUsers
Thanks for the reply and keep them coming as I really want to get this to
work.
(I also ran gpupdate.)

Did you create your own GPO and linked it to the SBSUsers group or did you
use the Default Domain Policy? Did you add the script to the directory that
opens up with you click the 'Browse' button? If you stored the script in a
custom location, try moving it to the location you see when you click the
'Browse' button. You can click the drop down and see the path to that
directory. Put it there and try logging on again
