Hi,
I'd like to change the default RDP rule in ISA to port to an internel
Terminal Server rather than the SBS server.
I've already created a publishing rule using a different port to
connect to the SBS server.
Generally, you shouldn't use a server publishing rule to grant access to services running locally, you should use Access Rules for those (the SBS RDP rule is one of these).
That works just fine.
Have also done the same for the TS as well, also works just fine.
Ah, you mean you published it on a non-standard port.
However I want external users to just be able to enter the public IP
on their RDP connections without having to specifiy a port and get
straight through to the TS.
Any ideas ?
I would modify the existing SBS RDP rule to use your non-standard TS protocol definition, and use a Server Publishing Rule for RDP to publish the internal server. You could simply change your existing publishing rule to use the standard TS Server protocol definition (from the SBS RDP rule, after removing it there) instead of your custom protocol.
