Hi Susan,
Thanks for posting in our newsgroup.
From your description, I know that the Outlook profile can't be createdautomatically. If that's not right, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Based on my research, please take the following step to see if the problem
can be resolved:
Step 1: Please visit \\SBSServer\clients\Setup , double click
sbsdefault.prf, this will automatically create the outlook profile with the
correct settings (which also include the FAX Transport) for the
corresponding domain user.
Step 2: Please ensure if the problematic users are created with the "Add
User Wizard". You can create a new user as the following steps and try
again:
1. Open Server Management and then go to User node.
2. Click Add a User and then click Next.
3. Input Username and then click Next.
4. Input Password and then click Next.
5. Select a User Temp and then click Next.
6. Click Finish
Step 3: The issue occurs when SBS_LOGIN_SCRIPT.bat is missing on the user
Properties. Please check the following:
1. Open Server Management.
2. On the User node, click the problematic user account and select
Properties.
3. On the Profile tab, ensure Logon script: SBS_LOGIN_SCRIPT.bat is listed.
Hope this helps.
If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Best regards,
Robert Li(MSFT)

<I looked at the article you sited in your other post, but I don't see this
<as a fix really - a workaround perhaps. As I said, I don't have any
trouble

<PCs, this happens whether this is a new or existing user.
<
<It's a real PITA as the 3 computers I set up last week are unassigned,

their

profiles,
<as we sometimes have trouble with the link to this location.
<
<Perhaps someone else has an idea?
