GFI

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Has anyone had any experience with GFI specifically related to
compliance in the financial industry? I'm trying to help out a client
with this.

1. What happens if your server goes down and had to be rebuilt would
you loose email which hadn't been backed up to tape that night?
2. Are there any ongoing maintenance requirements/problems - e.g. does
SQL server db need to be rebuilt, etc. for "fragmentation"
performance, etc.
3. What about adding/dropping users?
4. After 5 years of archiving does space become an issue with
archiving SPAM?
5. Does achiving impact day to day performance?
6. Is it possible to delete email inadvertently from the archive?
7. Has anyone actually been through an audit?
8. How fast is the search through say 50gb of email to find email?
9. Does anyone use GFI with a WORM tape drive?
10. How about upgrades - do you need to update GFI when you upgrade
SQL server or windows?
11. How is GFI support?

Thanks!
