Hello Customer,
Thank you for posting here.
According to your description, I understand that you want to convert the
SBS 2003 R2 180 trial version to full version. If I have misunderstood the
problem, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Based on my research, the trial version only be used in test environment,
and there is a 180 days limitation in this version. If you can install the
SBS from RTM version media, we do not recommended to do the converting.
Therefore, I suggest you try to call Microsoft CSS to order SBS disk 1#
again. They will send the disk to you.
To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a
look at the web site listed below.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;PHONENUMBERS
If you are outside the US please see http://support.microsoft.com for
regional support phone numbers.
However I will do my best to be of assistance if you still want to continue
here.
Of course, if you still want to convert the 180 trial version to full
version, you can run the SBS setup process again, when you run the SBS
setup process, you will prompt to input the product key. Now, input the SBS
full version key. Then, the SBS will be the full version.
Additional:
For licensing questions, you can call 1-800-426-9400 (select option 4),
Monday through Friday, 6:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. (PST) to speak directly to a
Microsoft licensing specialist.
Worldwide customers can use the Guide to Worldwide Microsoft Licensing
Sites
http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/index/worldwide.asp to find contact
information in their locations.
I hope these steps will give you some help.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Terence Liu(MSFT)
