The Vista firewall doesn't cause these issues. Especially if you have gone to Microsoft update and gotten the Vista/server patches.

Then ran gpupdate and it inherited the default firewall settings and

contact the DC to update the GPO. TRied to stop the Vista firewall
service, no joy. Help!
