Hello,
I am having exactly the same problem. The only difference may be that I
managed to connect 13 computers, then got this error message on a XP PRO. I
appreciate any help.. Thanks.

Hello Customer,
Thank you for posting here.
From your post, I understand that when attempting to add an additional
server in the SBS network, an error is encountered.
In addition, some virtual web sites are missing.
These two problems may not be related. In order to avoid confusion, I
suggest you post the second problem in a new thread so that it can be
resolved more efficiently.
Thank you for your understanding.
Let's try following steps to see if we can add the computer to SBS network
properly:
Firstly, please ensure the client machine is pointing to the SBS server for
default gateway and DNS.
Step 1:
===========
1. Open Server Management-->Advanced Management-->Internet Information
Services-->ServerName-->Web Sites
2. Right click Default Web Site and click Properties.
3. Click ISAPI Filters tab.
4. Please check if URLScan is in the list. If yes, remove it.
5. Click OK and run iisreset.
If the issue persists, let's move on:
Step 2:
=======
1. Open Server Management-->Advanced Management-->Internet Information
Services-->ServerName-->Web Sites-->Default Web Site.
2. Right click ConnectComputer and click Properties.
3. Select 'Scripts only' for Execute permissions
5. Click OK and run iisreset.
6. Check if the issue persists.
I hope the above information is helpful to you. If the problem still
occurs, please help me gather following information:
1. Please compress following folder and send it to v-mzhuan@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
C:\Inetpub\ConnectComputer
2. Please help me gather IIS Metabase to me for further analysis, send to
me: v-mzhuan@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the subject in the newsgroup:
1). Install MBExplorer by installing IIS 6 Resource Kit Tools:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=56FC92EE-A71A-4C73-
B628-ADE629C89499&displaylang=en
2). Once it is installed, access it from Start, Programs, IIS Resources,
Metabase Explorer.
3). In the left pane, right click ''LM'' (under your server computer name)
to choose ''Export to file'', and then save it as IIS.mbk.
4). Compress this mbk file and send it to me for analysis. Please let me
know the password if you set on this iis mbk file.
3. Please download the MPS Report tool from the following link and run it
on both the problematic client and the SBS server, then send the generated
CAB file to my mailbox v-mzhuan@xxxxxxxxxxxxx for further investigation so
that we can find what the root cause is:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/b/1/bb139fcb-4aac-4fe5-a579-30b0bd9
15706/MPSRPT_SETUPPerf.EXE

Please try the above steps at your earliest convenience. If you have any
concern, please feel free to let me know.
Best regards,

| Hi, Ive hit a stone wall with this so far.
| I am following the "Step-by-step guild to adding and managing Addtional
| Servers in a Windows SBS Network". When I get to the step to run the
| ConnectComputer Wizard, I get to the point where i click on "Connect to
the

| "Files that are critical to Client Setup cannot be copied to this client
| computer. A network administrator must reinstall the Client Deployment

|
| I have removed and reintalled the server tools, but to no avail.
| Below is the list of virtual Virtual Web Sites under Default Web Site In
