Re: Two users being blocked access to a program

Adding the exe to the exceptions didn't work. Anything else?

Start troubleshooting this by adding the EXE file to the exceptions in the
firewall. See if that fixes the issue.

Hi, Claus. Thanks for responding.

The application is an insurance agency program exe file. On all users'
desktops is a shortcut to the file on a network share. All users have
their
My Documents redirected to the server. Any user can use any station.

All other users are able to run the application without issue except these
two. It's not a real BIG issue but I'd like to fix it.

Thanks,

Rich

What are the users trying to do when they get the message? Which

Supporting an SBS2K3 Standard domain with nine systems. I recently
switched
the W2K stations out for XP Pro IBMs. All is well with server access
and
email, etc. One condition I see is that two users have a "blocked"
message,
prompting the user to continue or cancel. It looks like the firewall
is
blocking the application but no other users have the issue. Message
says,
"Publisher could not be verified, ... no valid signature ...".

Am I correct and, if so, how would I go about changing it? Because not
all
users are affected says the issue is with the user profile, correct?
It
makes no difference which computer they log onto.

So, fixes?

TIA,

Rich
