Hi Tom:
Trying to understand what you mean and having a little trouble. Correct me
if I am mistaken:
1. Something that works OK on the LAN with a local connection does not work
when connected by VPN from a remote system outside your network.
2. When connected over the VPN you can "usually" see the server and other
computers on your network by browsing the network.
3. You can remotely log on to any PC from the remote station.
4. When connected to (server? workstation?) and you try to open a User
Folder you lose the VPN connection and have to reconnect.
5. Sometimes the connection is lost even before you try to do anything.
It would be helpful to know the definitive answer to item 1 and 4.
It might be helpful to know the exact message you get when you are
disconnected.
It might be helpful to know if there are any errors in your event logs,
their event id and source.
It might be helpful to know what changed just before this stopped working,
as you indicated that it worked until a couple of weeks ago.
It might be helpful to know what steps you have already tried to correct it.
And why use VPN? RWW is a very friendly way to get connected.

I have got a problem with VPN. It does work fine on LAN but if I connect
via VPN I can get access to company LAN.
I can see server and whole network. Company web, I can remotely log in any
PC in company LAN.
The problem is when I go to e.g. Users Folders I get disconnected.
Sometimes before I do any first move via VPN I get disconnected as well.
I haven't done any changes on the server. The problem I have for a couple
of weeks still not solved.
