Re: RRW Works But i have a silly Question

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

In addition, one has to wonder if the workstations were joined to the domain
using the add a user, add a computer wizards, and then "connectcomputer",
since (note to Jason, not Colin) it is that neat bit of scripting that sets
it all up.

And, in case it was, but somehow it got changed,

Start - rclick my computer - properties - remote - "allow users to
connect...."

Whew. I tried to follow that, and I now think I know what you're asking,
but
it took me four attempts. In the future please try to post a little more
clearly (punctuation & separate paragraphs!).

So ....

1. Is the computer in the office which he would like to access, running
WinXP Pro?

2. Was it joined to the domain using http://servername/connectcomputer?

3. Have you forwarded TCP port 4125 inbound to your SBS server's LAN IP
in
your firewall/router?

4. Can you connect on the LAN to this computer using the Remote Desktop
client directly?
