Re: Users lose connection to the server after several hours

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Run the following command in the CMD window:
net time /setsntp
"0.us.pool.ntp.org,1.us.pool.ntp.org,2.us.pool.ntp.org,3.us.pool.ntp.org"
(there are NO spaces within the quotation mark text)
Then run:
net time /querysntp (to confirm the new setting)
Then run:
net time /set

Hi Claus, thanks for your answer.
I have installed the sbs win2003 three times and always happens this
problem.

Checking the Event Viewer found that there is a common mistake W32Time.
I
must confirm that Windows Time Service or another NTP Time Service is
running
and available on the source system.

I'll try to focus on this...Thank you!

What errors do you see in the event logs? When the users cannot
connect
any
longer, can you log into the console without problems? If this always
happens at the same time, check if there is any program that is
scheduled
to
start at that time.

Hi,
The problem is that when users have worked ten hours lost connection
to
the
server win 2003 sb R2.
Then I have to restart the server so that users can work again.
This happens every day at the same time.

I thank all the people who can help me
