Sounds like to me the user is logged into another machine somewhere. What
will happen is when you change the password everything is fine until that
account elsewhere gets locked out trying to authenticate and after a 3
attempts the account gets locked out again.

Hello,
Im running a sbs2003 invirionment and every morning I have one user
who cannot log into his machine. I go to the DC, and change his
password, and everything works fine all day, untill the next morning
when he tries to login again. He locks it many times throughout the
day, but only logs off at the end when he leaves. Next morning he
comes in, tries to type his password, and it doesn't work, until i
reset it. i don't know if anyone else has had this trouble, but an
advice on what to try would be great!
Andy
