Re: Remote Web Workplace Issue

No - I cannot connect to remote desktops either inside or outside the LAN on
the trouble laptop.

I can connect remotely on my wife's laptop which has never run the SBS
workstation setup.

As a test, what happens if you uninstall the McAfee firewall (and

I am having trouble using Remote Web Workplace to connect to either
the
SBS
server or a workstation desktop.

This appears to be a workstation issue. On a different workstation,
not
configured with a SBS connection, I can remotely connect to both
desktops.

The trouble laptop can successfully make a connection to the SBS
network,
connect to ISA using firewall client, log onto the RWW and run
remote
web
Outlook.

The list of workstation desktops available to log onto using RWW is
shown
but the error message "Remote Desktop Disconnected" is received.

I've added the IP address for the SBS server to the trusted sites
zone
in
IE
6.0.

The McAfee firewall on the trouble laptop is disabled but the
Windows
firewall (running Windows XP Pro) is enabled in security center and
is
locked
so that it cannot be disabled. I don't know how to modify the
Windows
firewall settings in case the firewall is blocking the remote
desktop
connection.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
