A bit more info would be helpful.

Can't access the server... some can't login.

Is this a new problem? What changed?

Have you powered off the switch?

Can you access the server from its console?

Are all the cables plugged in? Did the cleaning people go bump in the
night?

Is the server powered on and responsive at the console?

What are the exact error messages you receive from the worksatations?

What relevant errors are in your event viewer? Server, Workstations?

Users can't not access the server. Can't get email..some users are not
