Hello Customer,
Thank you for update. I'm sorry for the delay response due to the weekend.
I have not received your email still now. Please ensure you send it to my
working mailbox: v-terliu@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
From your symptom, I think this is AD replication issue. After you runchange the password on clients, the new password does not sync to the
"company drive". Therefore, the mapped drive will fail. Please also let me
know the following information:
1. One or two days after you change the password on client, does the issue
disappear without do anything?
2. You said the "company drive" is on "SERVER". Please let me know, which
server do you mean? Is it SBS server? Does the server on the Same LAN with
the SBS and the problematic clients?
3. Save the application event log and system event log as evt files on the
problematic machine and send to my mailbox: v-terliu@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
4. Please try to change the SBS logon script to map SBS drive on clients.
Does this issue happen again?
I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Terence Liu(MSFT)

change there password they will restartthe PC and enter the new password
when re-loging in. At this point the XP desktop screen appears and at the
bottom a DOS script window which should automatically map the drive. At
least i've never had an issue with it, however the window just stays up and
i have to manual close it.
