Hello Everyone,
Thanks for reading my post:
I had to relocate a 2003 SBS server to a different geographic location
(company moved to a new building). For some reason, the server will not
hand out DNS to clients nor will it browse the web. All the clients DNS is
pointing to the SBS server, therefore, no one can pull down email or
browse the web unless I input a public DNS as secondary for the clients.
Yes, I re-ran the ICW twice now; inputed the correct public dns and
pop/smtp info(not using MX record pointer). Regardless of the company
relocation, the ISP has NOT changed; they still have DSL with a different
static address.
FYI: All of the clients can ping and access server shared drives.
Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thanks
Hi all, here is the IP config for the server and a client:

Have you correctly set up a DNS forwarder in the DNS server properties of
the SBS server?
Is the IP correct?
If you say that you can't browse the unless the ISPs DNS server is entered
as a seocndary DNS server DNS forwarder configuration would be my best
bet.
Try pointing the DNS forwarder to the IP of your router and/or the IP of
your provider's DNS server.
