VPN to SBS 2003 Premium behind Netgear FVG318 router

Hi All,
I have read so many post that are similar but not exactly the issue
that my head is spinning. Here is the setup:

WAN Static public ip (no domain name) from cable ISP
Netgear FVG318 PROSAFE 802.11G WIRELESS VPN FIREWALL 8
DHCP for all clients and SBS Server
192.168.1.1 LAN router IP
UPnP capable and enabled.
SBS 2003 Premium fully updated on a Dell, 1 NIC server
Setup as DNS, with Exchange running
ISA not installed -
Reserved ip assigned by router is 192.168.1.2

All clients are XP Pro.

VPN to Netgear Router using Netgear VPN Client software working.

Add user to Mobile UG.

Remote Access on the server was setup when the server was installed.

I can see network shares but no files within the shares are visible.
Network applications do not connect.

It basically appears that the VPN client (laptop) is not logging /
registering with the SBS server.

What am I missing? Why does the client not see the shares correctly?
