Hello Terry,
Thank you for update.
First, please let me know: Do you logon SBS with administrator? If you log
on SBS with domain power users, you may get this issue.
Second, do you delete Server Management from C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup?
If the issue persists, please try the following steps:
1. Please delete the following files from SBS:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\SmallBusinessServer\Administration\itprosbsconsole.msc
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\SmallBusinessServer\Administration\mysbsconsole.msc.
2. Clean boot on SBS (in my previous reply)
If we cannot resolve the issue after we perform the above steps, please
help me collect some information for further investigation:
1. Please capture screenshots on the Server Management console and send the
pictures to me at v-terliu@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
2. Send the registry key reg file to me again. It is block by our Exchange
antivirus software. Please compress it input zip file and send to me again.
Thanks.
3. MPS report (in my previous reply).
I hope these steps will give you some help.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Terence Liu(MSFT)

| Terence,
|
| I did step one and deleted on from the default users. Still have the
issue
| when I log on.
|
| Step 2 I unchecked the check box again and rebooted the server. Another
| instance of Server Management C:\PROGRAM~1\MICROS~2\ADMINI~1\LAUNCH~1.EXE
was
| created. I cannot reboot the server several times for this issue, because
it
| shuts down our office. I will have to try several choices next week early
in
| the morning before others arrive, to hopefully eliminate the issue that
way.
|
| I am also going to email you the registry settings you need.
|
| Thanks,
| Terry
