RE: SBS

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hello Louis,

Thank you for posting here.

According to your description, I understand that you unable to access
internal additional server from remote site thru site-to-site VPN. If I
have misunderstood the problem, please don't hesitate to let me know.

First, I'd like to let you know that: We do not support 3rd-party
site-to-site VPN connect with double NICs SBS. You site-to-site VPN is
setup by your ISP with hardware. Then, you want to access internal web
application thru the VPN and 2 NICs SBS. The SBS will just work as a
router. This is not a support scenario. I suggest you make your SBS work at
single NIC.

Additional, I have a workaround for you: Please place your additional web
application server before the SBS.

We can make the external NIC of SBS, additional web application server and
router internal NIC connect to one switch, and make the additional web
application server work in 192.168.0.0/24 subnet. For example 192.168.0.12.
Then, the remote clients can access the additional web application server
thru site to site VPN.

I hope these steps will give you some help.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Best regards,

Terence Liu(MSFT)
