Did you download Windows Server Service Pack 1 or have it on a CD?
You might try downloading again

Thank you for taking the time to reply.
Your first link agrees that Windows Server 2003 Service Pacl 1 should be
installed first. It says to run WindowsServer2003-KB8890101-SP1x86-ENU.exe
This is what fails for me with the 'file not found message'
How would I find what file was being sought?
From your link it would appear that a setup wizard is being started. Maybethis is what is missing.
Any help appreciated

Then
Setup Error: The System Failed To Find The File Specified
I can see the files in the temp directory
Any ideas anyone?
Does it produce a log file?
