Why wouldn't you?
What would happen if we did go ahead and upgrade the server to
Windows 2003 SBS? Would exchange get overwritten, or would it keep
the store and Exchange settings there already?
Thanks!
You can't upgrade in place. And the official MS steps are not going
to give you as good an end result.
I don't mean to be a pain here, but I just found this.
Found what?
Is this not a
good procedure to follow?
I just don't understand why you say that I can't.
Thanks,
Russ
Again - you cannot do an upgrade in place to SBS. You can't just stick your
SBS CD in the existing server and run setup.
The MS procedures are for a way to *migrate.* And in my opinion, and in the
opinon of many in here, they aren't the best way to migrate.
www.sbsmigration is.
Your call :)
