Re: exchange message tracking center access denied

Even logging in with the administrator account that has "Exchange Full
Administrator" does not help. I still get the same error and googling does
not seem to help either.

I am not sure where to go from here. Can I read the logs outside of the
exchange manager?

I think Exchange View Only Administrator role was required in 5.5 and
before for message tracking, but the above should help you determine
which. There's only three to choose from.

Sorry about the other post. I tried accessing the message tracking
logs with the administrator but it did not help so it is not a
rights issue. Thanks. I will take a look at the technet article.

Hmmm. What's the error message you get when you try to open Message
Tracking as the built-in domain admin account? Same? I'd google for
it. This won't be a delegation issue.

Is there no way I can do this without logging in as the
administrator?

Sure. You can access it using any account that has sufficient
permissions. You can delegate permissions in ESM to other accounts
in AD. However, just to see message tracking, I have no idea what
those would be, sorry. You might start here -

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125081.aspx

or post in m.p.exchange.admin.

Are you using the built-in domain admin account?
