Forwarding e-mail to users home e-mail address

We have a requirement to be able to forward a copy of a users e-mail on to
their external home e-mail account to enable them to receive e-mail without
remote logging onto the network. I know that I can send e-mails to a 2nd
local account but external accounts do not appear to be supported. Can
anyone assist?
