Problem with Windows Update: proxy authentication required

Hi,

My problem is as follows:
My machine (Windows XP Home SP2, x86) is connected to a Local Area
Network. To access internet, a proxy server HAS to be used, which
requires authentication. Proxy server is HTTP(S) (squid/2.5.STABLE6).
Can anyone figureout a way to configure automatic updates to use
authentication. (I confugured it to use proxy server, but it doesn't
asks for authentication, I am appending the log file)
