Re: exchange information store won't mount URGENT HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

From customer's e-mail:

Thank you for the reply.

The DB was in an inconsistent state. I ended up moving all the files out of
the mbdata folder, and restoring from backup.

Upon looking at the database and log files, apparently I was missing a log
file, and the checksum was off ( most likely due to the server restart ).

If you would like I could send you the errors I was getting.

The only issue I have left to clean up is: I restored the backup from
Wednesday night. The clients outlook (cached mode) had already downloaded
email that was not in the Wednesday backup. Now the clients have email in
outlook, that they are unable to access in OWA.

Would you still like me to generate the cab file for you as well?

Cheers,

Laurin
