and why would you want to access via IP instead of name?

Hi,
I have a freshly installed MS SBS 2003 R2 Standard.
When I am trying to connect to default web site (locally) using the server's
DNS name in the URL (for example: http://server) in IE the page displays
properly without any problems.
When I use the IP address instead (http://10.10.10.10) - the IIS asks me for
credentials.
The same is for 'localhost' and '127.0.0.1': when I use http://localhost -
it goes to the default web site without any questions; when I use
http://127.0.0.1 - it asks me to provide credentials.

Can someone explain me what is going on? From my point of view all
permissions on IIS are set properly, but maybe I have missed something...

Best regards,
Richard
