Looking for postive feedback on extending my primary partition

I got a DELL PE 4600. I am using a Perc 3Di RAID Controller with dual
channels. On one channel I have my OS running on a mirrored RAID 0 (2x 36GB)
On the second channel I have a RAID 5 striped set (5x73 GB) that includes a
hot spare. I've just added a new drive to my RAID 5 array and need to extend
the primary partition. I do not want to use the new drive as an extended
partition.
I'm not looking for suggestions as I have already posted this and got some
great feedback on it. What I am seeking is some success stories on anyone
who has used DELL's ExtPart utility to extend the primary partition. I've
talked to DELL and I got mixed feedback and also they say we do not stand
behind or guarantee the utility. So I'm sure there are others out there who
have used this utility and if it is possible perhaps share your experience.
Good or bad. Many thanks.
